AGITO

ASSURANCE — VEHICLE

An easygoing kei-campervan

AGITO's vehicles are campervans built on a kei-car base. You can drive them on a regular license — no large-vehicle license or special qualification needed. With their compact bodies, they slip into Kyoto's old town and the narrow fishing-village lanes of Tango. Rather than worrying about size, think about where to go.

About licenses and driving

You can drive it on an automatic-only license. Those less than a year since obtaining their license (during the beginner-mark period) may also rent. Always bring your license. It makes no difference whether it's a green or gold license.

In-cabin equipment

Diesel heater

Warms the cabin quietly even with the engine off. Comfortable even for winter overnight stays.

Sub-battery

An auxiliary power source charged as you drive. Runs lighting, USB charging, and appliances.

External power hookup (100V)

Connects to an RV park's power post. Spend the night without worrying about electricity.

Sink (water tank)

A small sink. Use it for washing your hands and dishes.

Pop-up roof

The roof expands, easing the cabin's cramped feel. Helps secure space for sleeping.

USB charging ports

For charging smartphones and power banks.

Notes & tips

If narrow roads or parking worry you

It's kei-car size, so it fits in ordinary parking lots. Because of its height, though, it doesn't fit mechanical multi-story parking.

Expressway tolls

It's classed as a kei-car, so tolls are cheaper than for a standard car.

Fuel

Uses regular gasoline. Please refill to the same level as at departure when you return it.
