AGITO isn't a place. It's the name of a stretch of time.
Not a hotel, not a night in the car. It's the time in between, carried with you. The road out in the morning, the road home at dusk. A road you won't find in any guidebook.
Starting from Kyoto, slipping just past the edges of Kansai. Rather than following the plan, you follow the day's weather and your mood, and take the long way around. We don't rent out a vehicle — we rent out time that doesn't go to plan.
Why we built AGITO
The busyness never ends. Work, daily life, the people around us — finish one thing and the next is already here. Breaking that chain is something no one in the modern world can truly do.
Even so, a brief moment is enough. We need time that puts life back into our own hands.
You make a plan and comb through every sightseeing spot. For what you pay, you efficiently get an experience worth the price. But it starts to feel like a task to be checked off. The more time you measure by cost-efficiency, the busier your days become — and the emptier, somehow.
What actually has value is the opposite kind of time. Time that looks wasteful and inefficient at first glance. Time spent unchased by a schedule, with the map folded away. Precisely because we live in such a convenient age, there's a realness there you can't find anywhere else.
AGITO was made to share that time with the people close to you.
