Emergency Contacts
If You Have an Accident
- 01
Secure your safety first
Turn on your hazard lights and pull over somewhere safe. If anyone is injured, call an ambulance (119). If you get out of the vehicle, check for oncoming traffic behind you.
- 02
Contact the police
In an accident, always call 110. Reporting to the police is a legal obligation whether there are injuries or only property damage. Without a report, insurance may not apply.
- 03
Contact AGITO
Call the owner's direct line listed in the day-before information email. Outside business hours, contact the Sompo Japan Accident Support Center below directly.
- 04
Contact Sompo Japan
Call the Accident Support Center (0120-256-110, 24/7). Your insurance certificate is kept in the document pouch inside the vehicle.
Common Problems
The engine warning light came on▼
Pull over somewhere safe and turn off the engine. If the light is red, stop driving immediately and use your insurer's roadside assistance. A yellow light means you can still drive, but please get in touch soon.
You have a flat tire▼
Turn on your hazard lights and pull over slowly somewhere safe. The vehicle does not carry a spare tire. Please use the roadside assistance included with your insurance (Sompo Japan Roadside Assistance, 0120-365-110, 24 hours).
The keys won't open the door, or you locked them inside▼
The roadside assistance included with your insurance (Sompo Japan Roadside Assistance, 0120-365-110, 24 hours) can help. Please also email AGITO.
The sub-battery is dead▼
It recovers by charging as you drive. Start the engine and drive for at least 30 minutes. At campsites with external power (AC 100V), you can also charge by plugging into an outlet.
The diesel heater won't start▼
It may be low on diesel fuel. Check the fuel gauge. Otherwise, contact AGITO. Always keep the cabin ventilated while sleeping.
About the Insurance
