Terms of Use

Article 1. Application

These Terms apply to all matters relating to the use of the Service. Where the Company separately establishes individual provisions, those provisions take precedence over these Terms.

Article 2. Eligibility

• Hold a standard driver's license or a driver's license of the applicable category
• Be in a state of health that does not impair driving
• Not belong to any anti-social forces (organized crime)
• Have completed the Company's prescribed booking procedure

Article 3. Booking and Payment

• Booking applications are made through the booking form on this site. Your booking is concluded upon completion of the payment that follows your application, and we will send you a confirmation email with your booking details.
• Standard coverage (third-party liability, vehicle, and personal injury protection) is included in the rental fee. You may optionally enroll in the Collision Damage Waiver (CDW, ¥3,300 per day), which brings the deductible to ¥0.
• Payment is by credit card. You pay the full amount at the time your booking is completed. Your booking is confirmed upon completion of payment.
• We do not hold a deposit in advance. If an accident, damage, or delay is confirmed at return, the finalized damage amount, repair costs, NOC, extension fees, and similar charges are billed separately via a payment link issued by the Company.

Article 4. Cancellation

• Up to 14 days before: 5% (equivalent to the payment processing fee)
• 13–8 days before: 20% of the fee
• 7–2 days before: 50% of the fee
• Day before: 80% of the fee
• Day of / no contact: 100% of the fee

Article 5. Prohibited Acts

• Subletting or use for commercial purposes
• Driving by anyone other than a registered driver
• Taking the vehicle outside the declared area (ferry use requires prior application)
• Illegal acts, reckless driving, drunk driving
• Bringing pets or animals (hearing dogs and service dogs by prior consultation)
• Smoking inside the vehicle
• Modifying the vehicle

Article 6. Accidents and Breakdowns

If an accident, breakdown, or other trouble occurs, contact the police and the Company immediately. If you leave the scene without making contact, coverage may not apply. For details, please see the Rental Agreement and the Driving Conditions.

Article 7. Limitation of Liability

The Company is not liable for damage arising from causes not attributable to the Company, such as natural disasters, road conditions, or the acts of third parties.

Article 8. Changes to the Terms

The Company may change the content of these Terms. In that case, the revised Terms take effect from the time they are announced by posting on the Company's website or by other appropriate means. Such a change is made only where it does not conflict with the purpose of these Terms and is reasonable in light of the necessity of the change, the appropriateness of the revised content, and other circumstances.

Article 9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. For disputes relating to the Service, the Kyoto District Court shall be the court of agreed additional jurisdiction, without excluding the jurisdiction of any other court having jurisdiction under the law.
